Can you take segmentary commercial loans from a bank?

Question by Cranberrydude: Can you take segmentary commercial loans from a bank?
Like take a small loan(let’s say $ 100-200) for starting the business very first stuff, and then take another loan after few months (of about $ 1,000-5,000) to buy the rest.

P.S. for a starting small business.

you should know your total cost for starting a business, plan on putting down 20%. Go to www.sba.gov it is a good website with a lot of answer to help start up businesses. then go to your bank and ask to speak to a business banker and ask them for a little help.

Also, above what credit score do they usually consider you for a loan. We are looking to get a $ 5k personal loan. Thank you!!
No one at the bank TOLD us they do not do personal loans…I just do not see any onformation about it on their site where they list all their services. Mortgages are NOT hard to get IF you have the appropriate credit score and make enough to affor the home you are purchasing. Moron!

Credit unions are usually the best place. Most loans require a minimum FICO score of 620, though people with lower scores may still find money available at high interest rates. Good luck.
