Question by mosez8: Can a wife get her own personal loan without having to qualify her husband in Wisconsin?
They are married and keep all there finances seperate. She is trying to get a personal loan but the banker said in WI you have to qualify your husband as well and she got denied because of his credit score and past history. She would have been approved just on her own.

Wisconsin is a “Community Property State”.

I believe that the debt is automatically half his so lenders will use both of their credit to determine whether or not to do the loan. I do not know if there is any way around this.

Question by Mic Holding: Business credit & business credit lines without using personal credit. Is that a reality ?
I have so so personal credit. I want to know if I can build business credit without relying too heavily on personal credit. I know someone that got a big cash line of credit using business credit and I KNOW that his credit is not that good, in fact his business is not even doing that well. I want to do my own research. Anyone have experience in this. Thank you.
